The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) in Telangana had come a very long way to reach where it is now. As a massive feat, the party played a pivotal role in getting the separate statehood for the state. When the state was formed there were many questions about how Telangana can survive.
Thanks to the governance and vision of CM KCR, the state is traveling on the path of steady growth. Over the years, the state is going through overall growth and development. If compared to divided Andhra Pradesh, Telangana had an upper hand. With no capital city, companies are preferring Telangana over Andhra Pradesh.
On a few occasions, the Telangana leaders have highlighted how the state is progressing compared to Andhra Pradesh. The likes of Harish Rao have taken a dig at the development in Andhra Pradesh. Looks like another key Minister joined the force.
Telangana IT Minister and TRS Working President Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao took part in the 11th edition of CREDAI, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India held in Telangana capital Hyderabad.
Addressing the gathering, KTR highlighted how the state is offering better facilities compared to the neighboring states. Without taking any names, KTR said that one of his friend went to a neighboring state for Sankranthi.
His friend spend four days in the neighboring state and he did not have a good time there as there was no power supply and the roads were in a terrible condition, and the state had no water supply as well, KTR said.
KTR went on to say that, his friend had advised him that the state should run buses to the neighboring states so that they can know how Telangana is in a better state compared to many states. His comments came as a surprise to many.
Despite not taking any names, KTR saying his friend going to another state for the Sankranthi festival made many people think that he was talking about Andhra Pradesh as it is a big festival there. On the other hand, there were reports that AP is struggling with bad facilities and a shortage of power and water supply. All these development say KTR was taking a dig at the fellow Telugu state.
