Dil Raju might be a big producer in Tollywood, but the fact is that he hardly has guts to produce big-budgeted extravaganzas. It isn’t his style.
Many were surprised when he went all the way to Bigg Boss Tamil sets in Chennai to handover a bouquet to Kamal Haasan and Shankar and announce a sequel to “Bharateeyudu” aka “Indian 2”.
News from Chennai is that Dil Raju has officially backed out from this project after considering that a film in the combination of Kamal Haasan and Shankar is not viable at this time, given high budget quotations.
Shankar who is currently working with Lyca Productions for Rajinikanth’s “2.0” has made the same banner agree to produce “Bharateeyudu 2”.
If reports are to be believed, Dil Raju’s hasty decision has put him in big embarrassment. It is better he should concentrate on content based movies which he is good at.
