Disappointed Kannadigas Threaten To Boycott ‘Pushpa’!

The wait is almost over and Icon Star Allu Arjun’s much-awaited film ‘Pushpa’ is going to be at our nearby theatres in no time. The team of ‘Pushpa’ worked very hard for the last two years and the verdict is going to be out in the next few days. This is Allu Arjun’s first pan-Indian film as it is going to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Bunny and Rashmika have promoted the film tirelessly over the past few days.

But the team of ‘Pushpa’ seems to have disappointed the Kannada people who are threatening to boycott the film. They are upset with the poor release strategy as most of the multiplexes and single screens in Karnataka are screening Telugu, Hindi and Tamil versions. The film was dubbed in Kannada too but it got fewer theatres compared to the other versions. Fans are arguing about the use of releasing the film in Kannada if lion’s share of theatres are given to other versions of ‘Pushpa’.

#BoycottPushpa is trending heavily on Twitter and a Kannada fan vented out his anger by writing, “If you want to release ur movie in Karnataka better release Kannada version more than any version. What is this? Telugu version200+,hindi vsn 10+,malayalam vsn 4+, tamil vsn 4+ & Kannada version 3 shows just 3 that too in Karnataka.” With less than 12 hours remaining for the film to hit the screens, we need to see how the team handles this situation.
