Don’t Remake My Film: Kangana

Actress Kangana Ranaut is making her directorial debut with ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ and is also playing the title role in the movie. This is Kangana’s ambitious project and pinned high hopes on the movie as it will decide the fate of her Bollywood career.

As part of promotions, Kangana was advised producers and directors from south not to remake ‘Manikarnika.’ She further said they are dubbing ‘Manikarnika’ in Tamil and Telugu languages.

Seems like Kangana is not convinced with the idea of remake and went on to talk about her ‘Queen’ film which is being remade in all the four south Indian languages.

Based on the life of warrior queen Lakshmibhai, ‘Manikarnika’ is made with a budget of Rs 125 crore. The film is produced by Zee Studios and is releasing on January 25th, 2019.
