Narcotics control bureau (NCB) officials issued summons to Rhea Chakraborty after 8 arrests in 10 days in the drug cartel case. Her brother Showik was captured yesterday and on questioning, he stated that he bought drugs on her sister’s behest.
The NCB along with Mumbai police personnel arrived at Rhea’s residence to serve the summons. Today morning, two police vehicles escorted Rhea who is accompanied by her father in her car. Reportedly NCB requested Santa Cruz police in Mumbai to provide security as demanded by her. A heavy deployment of women police has been accompanied to provide safety.
Rhea is alleged to have played the victim card in Sushant Singh Rajput case and considered as prime suspect. Today morning, NCB team’s IPS officer Sameer Wankhede entered her residence along with a diary containing questionnaire and confirmed summons.
The time given by the officials is to appear before 11 a.m. An official said, she was given an option to join NCB team or all alone to reach the office, which is 28 kms away from her home. Rhea seemingly appears non cooperating and began 45 mins late to serve NCB summons today morning.
She will be grilled for her alleged involvement in drug ring that led to Sushanth’s death. Will truth come out today? Will it be the end of Rhea?!.
