Salman Khan‘s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai trailer has caught Tollywood attention after it featured the superhit Seetimaar song, from Allu Arjun’s 2017 film Duvvada Jagannadham, also starring Pooja Hegde.
The song composed by Devi Sri Prasad was an instant chartbuster, and he even composed the same song for Salman Khan’s Radhe.
Speaking about the same, DSP said that director Prabhudeva was on the lookout for a peppy song for a specific situation in the film, and asked DSP to come up with something interesting.
“I suggested Seetimaarr to Prabhudeva. He listened to the number and was fascinated. He showed it to Salman, who asked me to recompose the song for their film. I was more than happy to contribute,” said DSP.
“Since ‘Seetimaarr’ itself is a Hindi word, I thought it would deal with the situation and context of the film. After listening to the final mix, Salman was thrilled with the number. He called me a couple of weeks back and said the song sounds terrific,” he added.
It is worth mentioning that Salman had heard Devi Sri Prasad’s Ringa Ringa song from Arya in a club and asked the composer if he could recreate it. DSP came up with Dinka Chika, and it was a big hit in Hindi.
