When Pawan Kalyan sidelined director Sampath Nandi from ‘Gabbar Singh 2’ project after the director had traveled two years with him, many expected that the director might indirectly target Pawan through his films. However, Sampath Nandi’s response is quite surprising.
Immediately after being dropped from ‘Gabbar Singh 2, Sampath Nandi managed to convince Ravi Teja and made Bengal Tiger with a script that he reportedly had written keeping Pawan in mind. The film had several references to Pawan Kalyan and at times, it looked exaggeration. The ‘Racha’ director even equaled Pawn with superstar Rajinikanth.
Now, once the first look of Nandi’s new film staring Gopichand was unveiled, everyone started pointing out two things. The rugged yet stylish makeover of Gopichand is one thing and the title is another. Needless to remind that the ‘Gautam Nanda’ title is derived from the name of Pawan’s character in ‘Attharintiki Daredi’.
Sampath Nandi has once again shown his love towards Pawan by naming his film after his character. This will also bring free publicity and the adulation of fans of Pawan for the Gopichand starrer. Now fans wonder how many dialogues and scenes in ‘Gautam Nanda’ will have Pawan references.
