Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan was reportedly injured at a rally after bullets were fired at the gathering. As per the media reports, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is on a mission to reach the PM post again and he is gathering support for this from various corners.
As part of that Imran Khan held a ‘real freedom’ rally in Wazirabad. A few miscreants fired bullets at the rally. The PTI party alleged that the accused used an AK-47 gun. Imran Khan reportedly sustained injuries in his leg in the attack.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party led by Imran Khan alleged that besides Khan few others also sustained injuries in the attack. All the victims were rushed to the hospital. Imran Khan was rushed into a bulletproof vehicle and was taken to a hospital.
The PTI party dubbed the attack as a planned one to silence the voices against the government. The opposition party said that the government cannot silence the voices and warned of strong protests against this. Imran Khan was reportedly shot a few times and sustained injuries in his leg.
The videos shared by the PTI say that Faisal Javed was also injured. A video of him speaking to the media from the hospital bed was shared on Twitter. There was blood on his dress hinting that he might have also taken bullets. However, there is no official confirmation.
For the past few days, Imran Khan has been holding meetings against the current government and named the meetings ‘freedom’ rally. The former Prime Minister is saying that there is no freedom in the nations and he wants freedom.
