The second wave of Covid-19 pandemic has put the entertainment industries across India at a standstill once again. SS Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus RRR is also hit by the pandemic, and the film’s shoot has been suspended till the situation comes to normalcy.
The latest update from a source is the Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer needs to complete another 30 to 40 days of the shoot. As per the source, two songs on Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt and two major scenes in the film are to be canned.
However, with lead actor Jr NTR testing positive for Covid-19, the makers may not start the shoot soon. RRR, which was postponed several times in the past, was scheduled to release on October 13, 2021. Considering the pending schedules and post-production formalities, the film will also not make it to the theatres on the announced release date.
RRR is being produced by DVV Danayya. Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris are the leading ladies, while Ajay Devgn is playing a pivotal role.
