Both Mahesh Babu and Anil Ravipudi expressed their interest to work with each other again after scoring a big hit with Sarileru Neekevvaru earlier this year. But it turns out, Mahesh rejected Anil Ravipudi’s offer to star in his next project, F3.
Going into the story, Anil Ravipudi penned an interesting role for Mahesh in the script of F3 and approached the star hero. He was confident that Mahesh would come on board for the project.
But Mahesh was not overly impressed with the proposal as starring in a multi-starrer like F3 at this point in his career is not in his best interests. So, he politely turned down Anil’s offer and remained focused on his upcoming action drama, Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
Anil then made some minor changes to the script and went ahead with Venkatesh and Varun Tej, who played lead roles in the first outing, F2.
The filming of F3 commenced in Hyderabad recently and the lead cast is taking part in the same.
Dil Raju, who is producing the film is aiming to release the film next summer. He opines that F3 can have a good run at the ticket counters during the holiday season. The final decision on release will be taken after assessing the situations.
