Rakul Preet Singh had shifted her base to Mumbai a while back and has been focusing on her Bollywood career. Incidentally, the star actress recently signed a Telugu project in which she will be seen alongside Vaishnav Tej.
Krish Jagarlamudi was particular about bringing Rakul on board for the project and even she was excited by the storyline and signed the dotted line.
As per our sources, Rakul Preet is playing a de-glamorous role in this as-yet-untitled project. Krish penned a rustic character for Rakul and she will be seen as a daily wage agricultural labourer in the film. This is the first time she is playing such kind of a role in Tollywood.
The film is said to be a thriller set out in forest backdrop and it will be wrapped up in a single schedule. The unit has started shooting already.
Krish is planning to complete this project at the earliest so that he can focus on Pawan Kalyan’s film. It is said that Krish will complete Vaishnav Tej’s film in two months time.
