With the increasing awareness about taking covid vaccine during the second wave, celebs have themselves started getting vaccinated. In this context, actor Farhan Akhtar took to his Twitter handle recently to announce his fans that he took the first inoculation of the COVID-19 vaccine.
He lashed out at a troll by netizen, who took a dig by labelling him a ‘VIP Brat‘ for allegedly taking an advantage of drive-in vaccination facility.
That Twitter user replied to his update saying, Another VIP brat gets out for vaccination that is reserved for 60+years senior citizens… He criticises that the actor has either pretended to be 60+ physically challenged or used his status for getting the jab.
However, that didn’t go well with Farhan. He hit out saying , ”The drive-in is for 45 + .. now do something constructive for society with your time like losing your phone.”
Recently, Farhan joined hands with an NGO named Hope For Welfare Trust. He has chipped in some amount to the foundation and his funds are being used for provision of food and other medical needs for Covid-19 patients.
