Farmington case: Indian students to be released from jail in 3 weeks

A few days back, on January 30, a vast group of 129 Indian students have been arrested at Farmington for enrolling at a fake University in the US. The good news is that all those arrested students might soon be released within three weeks, as per the Bhuvnesh Boojala, who is the President at America Telugu Association (ATA).

20 out of 129 students have already been out of jail for quite some time now and the remaining 109 students would soon be released from jail post the discussions. Bhuvanesh confirmed the news to a popular news channel when he attended for Water and Waste Management at HICC.

He advised upcoming students to take required precautions before entering the U.S as Trump have earlier announced those who illegally enter the US and overstay for more than 180 days would be barred from re-entry for three years.

To avoid similar trouble in the future, Bhuvanesh has asked NRI Enquiry Branch to take basic steps of collecting the details of all those who enter the US. This is not the first time a sting operation has been conducted in the US. Back in 2016, 21 Asian people have been charged for enrolling in the fake University of Northern New Jersey.
