Bollywood’s Baadshah and King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans have been waiting for long to see their favourite hero on big screens. After 2018’s disastrous Zero film, SRK did not sign any and the news has shattered his fans. The actor also remained tight-lipped when he was asked about his next flick many times.
Even the news that SRK is collaborating with South director Atlee for his next had no official confirmation. While fans have remained broken hearts and going anxious with no good news, here is some exciting news that Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly signed a new film titled Salute. The film will be directed by Sidharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala.
Salute is a biopic based on Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian citizen to travel in space. Reports further suggest that Fatima Sana Shaikh will be roped in as the female lead for the movie. Three is no confirmation on the news and it is expected soon. Fatima has earlier expressed in one of her interviews that she adores SRK a lot and is dying to work with him someday. If the news on Salute turns out true, the actress dream of acting with King Khan will come true.
Also, Salute was scheduled to go on floors from October 2019, but it is reportedly planned this month itself. So, let’s wait and see if SRK is indeed coming out of his sabbatical break for his fans.
