Actor Jagapathi Babu is playing the role of politician YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s father, YS Raja Reddy in the film ‘Yatra.’
The first look of the versatile actor is out and Jagapathi almost looks like Raja Reddy with clean shave, salt & pepper look and in all white.
However, Jagapathi’s role is said to be a guest appearance which would last for couple of minutes. But the details are not revealed.
‘Yatra’ is based on YSR’s ‘padayatra’ back in 2003, when the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh was hit by severe drought. YSR’s walk brought the Congress party into power in 2004 elections.
Mahi V Raghav is directing the movie while Malayalam superstar Mammootty is essaying the role of YSR.
The film produced by 70MM Entertainments banner, is slated for release on February 8th.
