The ongoing feud within AIADMK is turning interesting with each passing day. With the clash of OPS (O Panneerselvam) camp vs Sasikala camp is out in open and each targeting the rival.
Now the fight has moved from offline onto online. Since OPS group is doing well in social media since day 1, Sasikala group now turned its focus to it. She has sacked AIADMK IT wing secretary for inefficiency to counter OPS group and upped the attack now.
The IT wing of AIADMK is now split and the OPS group has put out the mobile numbers of AIADMK MLAs who are supporting Sasikala. OPS team has asked the public and OPS supporters to call the MLAs and mount the pressure on them. OPS team has created twitter handle like @CMOTamilNadu and in no time, it has got so many followers.@Hariadmk, @AyyappanRamasam are two others who are supporting OPS and running the online campaign in support of OPS.
The OPS supporters have requested public to call the MLAs of their respective constituency and put pressure on them to support OPS. Apparently, a man from Coimbatore told media that he called 15 MLAs. And there are many others like this man.
AIADMK had to clarify and tweeted that @CMOTamilNadu isn’t official twitter handle of Tamil Nadu CM. Yet there wasn’t much response. On the whole, in the online war, AIADMK IT wing is on backfoot as it’s clueless on how to tackle this sudden online war.
Meanwhile, it can be recalled that already DMK has announced its support to OPS. As of now, more numbers are with Sasikala. But one has to wait and watch to know what’s in the store for OPS and Sasikala.
