Anushka Shetty’s Nishabdam celebrated the pre-release today and many biggies showered praises on Sweety and that caught the attention of all is the speech of K Raghavendra Rao’s.
The senior director wished her the best on completing 15 years in films and recalled some memories before praising her for success throughout. Raghavendra Rao mentioned that he first saw Anushka in Nagarjuna’s guest house during the times of Sri RamaDasu shooting.
Raghavendra Rao revealed that Nagarjuna introduced Anushka to KRR as he wanted to show him a new girl who will be a heroine in his next. As narrated by KRR, Anushka came climbing steps from the basement room after Nag called her ‘Sweety’. KRR kept saying that first he saw her eyes and then face and then he paused with a laugh, but we all know what the senior director meant.
Raghavendra Rao claims to have foretold Anushka would reach the top slot one day in Tollywood and she has become one by climbing each step to the throne, just like she came up from the basement when he first saw her. The senior director also took Puri Jagannath’s name when he said we all know how Puri shows his heroines in films.
Putting the objectifying jokes apart, Raghavendra Rao mentioned her biggest blockbusters Arundhati, Bhaagamathi, Rudramadevi, and Baahubali, saying that getting offers is common but these all great characters found Anushka to play them.
Raghavendra Rao finally coined a resemblance between him and Anushka that he is called Mouna Muni and after Nishabdam, Anushka will be called Mouna Muni Kanyaka, in a funny tone.
