Senior IAS Officer AB Venkateswara Rao had gone through a tough and devastating time for two long years. After struggling hard and waging a legal war, he got a big relief today as the Supreme Court had canceled his suspension and directed the government to take him into service.
After receiving a favorable verdict from the court, AB Venkateswara Rao spoke to the media and asked why he was targeted without doing any wrong? For what psycho happiness I was targeted? I have written many letters to the CS, but I got no response, why does the issue have to be taken when CS can take the decision, he asked.
ABV said that a DGP had written a false letter and based on the letter, he was harassed and targeted without a proper investigation. He said who will pay the expenditure the government had spent to pay for the lawyers to defend the case.
Blasting the officials who are giving wrong suggestions to the government, ABV said that the cost incurred in this issue should be recovered from the officers. What did they achieve, by targeting me?
