Ganguly’s daughter post on #CAA goes viral

BCCI chief and former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly’s daughter Sana’s social media post Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) went viral and this has divided many people who are supporting and are against CAA. Sana’s post came in the wake of ongoing students’ agitation across India.

Sana’s post on Instagram is an excerpt from writer Khushwant Singh’s ‘The End of India’ (published in 2003). This post is certainly in favour of students who agitation against CAA and it called for a debate.

However Ganguly intervened in this whole episode when Sana became a talking point over the social media. “Please keep Sana out of all this issues .. this post is not true .. she is too young a girl to know about anything in politics,” tweeted Ganguly.

Surprisingly many hailed Sana for expressing her stance on CAA so openly and criticized Sourav for his tweet.
