There are some leaders in politics, whose agenda is the biggest mystery for the people and their own party’s High command. They neither attend the party meetings nor show their support to the party. One such leader is North Vizag TDP MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
The way Ganta withstood Jagan’s storm in last year’s assembly polls is just impeccable but the TDP hasn’t got any of his services yet. In his entire political history, Ganta hasn’t appeared loyal to a particular political party.
Many leaders who are close to Ganta say that he is a very opportunistic leader and favours the ruling party all the time. In 2014 he won from TDP ticket and got ministry. After a humiliating loss in 2019 for his party, Ganta hasn’t spelled out a word against Jagan in any issue. Everyone is puzzled about Ganta’s stand.
Keep all that aside, recently the LG Polymers gas leak shook the whole state and the area in which this accident happened comes under Srinivas Rao’s constituency. Chandra Babu failed to enter the state amid lockdown restrictions and asked his party leaders to console the victims.
Being the MLA of the affected people, Ganta is now where to be seen while Acchennaidu from Srikakulam, Chinna Rajappa from East Godavari, and Ramanaidu from West Godavari made their way to Vizag in the next minute.
It seems like Ganta is in the biggest dilemma in his life and most probably he is worrying about his future in the TDP like many other TDP leaders.
