This had been the talk of the AP politics last month. TDP’s most prominent leader and Senior pro politician in AP, Ganta Srinivas was rumored to join the ruling YSR Congress Party. However, there has been a break to those speculations and yet again this leader from Vizag took the centre stage as some reports came out that Ganta is going to meet YS Jagan on October 3rd.
However, it seems that the YCP has a strategy to do away with Chandrababu’s main opposition status before the assembly sessions. Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar joined YCP a few days ago. With this, four MLAs have distanced themselves from the TDP. Now, Ganta may join Vlalabhannei & co to desert Naidu out in assembly so that the YCP can show their dominance in the assembly sessions.
Previously, many people said that it is not at all a surprise for them given Ganta’s grand history of defections. Srinivasa Rao has this industrial base in the Vizag region of which Jagan would make good use of him to set up a firm administrative capital if everything goes well in the High Court. This is still an uphill task for both Ganta and Jagan considering their individual needs and benefits and it is being said- hence the meeting to sort everything out.
