Covid-19 is booming once again in Maharashtra. More than half of the corona cases being reported across the country are from Maharashtra alone. The Maharashtra govt is preparing for another lockdown to prevent the situation from escalating despite already imposing restrictions.
To this extent, CM of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray advised the authorities to be prepared to implement the lockdown. It was ordered to make necessary arrangements for the same. The order was issued during a review with senior officials. The Maharashtra govt feels that there is no alternative except to impose a lockdown as people are not following the Covid rules despite the rising virus. It has already imposed a night curfew to curb the virus.
