Suriya revealed that discussions with AR Murugadoss are underway for a bilingual Ghajini 2 in Tamil and Hindi. He will reprise his lead role in the Tamil version, while Aamir Khan is expected to take the lead in the Hindi remake. The prospect of both actors making cameo appearances in each other’s films has generated considerable excitement among fans.
While AR Murugadoss is currently working on other projects, including a film with Sivakarthikeyan and his Bollywood comeback Sikander starring Salman Khan, he remains committed to developing Ghajini 2. An official announcement regarding the sequel is anticipated soon, and fans are eagerly awaiting more details about the film and its potential plot changes.
In addition to Ghajini 2, Suriya is currently working on Kanguva. He has also recently completed filming for a project tentatively titled Suriya 44, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The cast also includes renowned actors like Jayaram, Joju George, Nassar, Prakash Raj, and Sujith Shankar.
