Great liars become good writers: Vijayendra Prasad

Writer Vijayendra Prasad came up with an interesting logic that if somebody is good at telling lies..he can become a good writer.  He agreed that the same quality made him a big writer.  Why lies and writing are interlinked?.. he revealed logic behind it in the Srivalli audio launch.

“Many people come to me to know how to write stories.  Similarly 21 year old boy came to me and asked the same question.  I asked him.. Do you have a girl friend ? He said..he is in trials.  I asked him to get a girl friend first…then get two three girl friends. If you can do this, you might be killed.. if you are not killed.. you can become a great writer.  The reason is.. if someone excels in lying he can get hold of writing. Because.. a story means a lie. If you can come up  with several lies..you can write several stories”.

While speaking about becoming a writer by telling lies… Vijayendra shifted his focus on to anchor Suma. “The boy who approached me stopped meeting me after an year. You can understand what kind of a big liar I’m, as I have been writing for the last 50 years successfully. Bahubali, Bhajarangi Bhaijaan released within a week’s gap two years ago and turned out to be super hits.  Then I thought of myself as a great liar. Everyone is behind me. But some one is kilometer ahead of me.  She knows Malayalam”.  After saying this, he gestured towards Suma.   Vijayendra went on to say that Suma tells so many lies in the audio functions. She praises everybody on stage. She even tells several lies about the film.

Going by Vijayendra’s words.. Suma can become a Bahuabalian writer than Bahubali writer, as she is good at telling lies !
