After the monumental success of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, Prabhas has become a popular actor all across India. However, after the Baahubali series, Prabhas has struggled to deliver another major hit. His latest movie, Salaar scored an average hit.
Now, Prabhas is looking forward to success with his upcoming projects. One of the most awaited films is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, known for his work on Sita Ramam. Hanu Raghavapudi recently confirmed his collaboration with Prabhas for a new film.
The movie is said to be a period-action film with a twist in history. Hanu Raghavapudi revealed this information at an event held at NIT Warangal. He also mentioned that the music director Vishal Chandrashekhar has already composed three songs for the film.
This project, backed by the renowned production house Mythri Movie Makers, is rumored to have a massive budget of Rs 300 crore. It’s speculated to be an epic romantic tale set against the backdrop of World War 2, promising to showcase advanced visual effects.
Scheduled to begin production next year, this ambitious project aims to offer audiences a fresh and captivating narrative of love. Hanu Raghavapudi is currently fine-tuning the script to create a unique cinematic experience.
It’s worth mentioning that Prabhas’ film, Radhe Shyam, also had a budget of Rs 300 crore but didn’t perform as expected at the box office. In September, reports suggested that Sreeleela has been cast as the female lead. Rumors about Prabhas collaborating with Hanu Raghavapudi began circulating in May, with the actor reportedly being impressed by the director’s narration.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is getting ready for the release of his highly anticipated film Kalki 2898 AD, a science fiction action thriller directed by Nag Ashwin. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. He is also busy with Salaar 2 and The Raja Saab.
