Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Makers spending a bomb on VFX

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Crafty director Krish Jagarlamudi are currently working on Hari Hara Veera Mallu. By now, everyone is aware that the period drama is set in the 17th-century backdrop of the Mughals and Qutub Shahis era.

There were already reports that the flick will offer a spectacular visual feast. The makers have assembled gigantic sets like Charminar, Red Fort and Machilipatnam port for the film’s shooting.

The latest update is that the film is said to be made mostly in artificial sets and VFX effects to be the highlight of the film. It is heard that nearly Rs 50 crore are being spent on the graphic work alone. Most of the film is shot on a green mat. As per the talk, the makers have already handed over the VFX work to a reputed company.

About 40 percent of the film has already been shot and the filmmakers plan to complete the rest once the pandemic effect reduces.

Nidhhi Agerwal is playing the female lead. Top technicians such as MM Keeravani and ace cinematographer Gnana Shekar VS are handling music and camera respectively for this film. ‘Hari Hara Veeramallu’ is slated for 2022 Sankranthi release.
