Harish Shankar Warns Super Bazar Customers

Director Harish Shankar is the most criticised when it comes “DJ Duvvada Jagannadham”. While many took on his story writing abilities, some gave a blast about his punch dialogues as things that serve no purpose. As the film is underway to become a 100 crore grosser, the director took it to Thank You meet as an occasion to share his gyaan to movie lovers.

“Rather taking a dig at my story and screenplay, some went personal and wrote that I got eyes moved over to my head. It’s my eyes, my wish, who are you to ask? Criticise my film, not me. People say I’ve got attitude post Gabbar Singh success, but only because of my attitude Gabbar Singh has come out” avers Harish, making himself a tough shell against criticism.

Explaining about what’s inside the movie and how various people understood it, Harish said, “A guy from the USA called me to appreciate emotional dialogues like ‘Technology perigitehy dooram taggali kaani, perugutondi entra’. And a guy from Eluru told that he liked ‘Pagilipoyela vayinche DJ’. I’ve to write dialogues for both Eluru and USA guys. If you could see only punch dialogues and miss out other message oriented ones, that’s not my fault”. He compared himself to a super bazaar to elaborate this further.

“At a Super Bazaar, some people come to pick Eggs and some buy Fruits. And it’s Super Bazar guy’s duty to sell both fruits and eggs. Now the one’s who picked eggs should not make fun of fruits and the one who buys fruits should not say that the owner should not sell eggs. Look at films from entertainment angle only, they are meant for that. India being a democratic country, you can criticise the story but not individuals”, he says, warning the so-called super bazaar customers.

“No matter if people or critics will pay heed to my words or not, but I will continue giving messages. Those who love my mass dialogues, please recognise my message oriented dialogues too”, concluded Harish Shankar, boasting DJ’s success as a non-Baahubali record.
