The Madras High Court quashed the petition as the production house could not submit the required evidence to prove the allegations. The next hearing in the issue will be on the 26th of this month.

Going into details, the Lyca Productions moved the High Court alleging that Vishal took around ₹21.29 crore from them, but did not return. Saying that the actor-producer is not returning the money, the production house filed a suit. Hearing a petition, the High Court said that the actor cannot release his films in theatres of OTTs unless he deposits ₹15 crores.

Now the production house moved the court alleging that Vishal produced a few ventures without depositing the money which is contempt of court.
