He Turns Tough Competitor to Nani

In the last few years, Nani has emerged as the most successful hero in Tollywood thanks to his great judgement of subjects and the variety of scripts that he has chosen to enthrall different sections of audiences. It seems that another young hero Sharwanand is going to give a tough competition to Nani by slowly emerging as a contender for the crown of top medium range hero.

After reviving his career with an entertaining thriller, ‘Run Raja Run’, Sharwanand has delivered a slew of hits like Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, Express Raja and the latest Shatamanam Bhavati. While the earlier films created a reliable market for him among youth, Shatamanam Bhavati has taken him closer to family audiences.

Earlier, Nani was the only medium range to enjoy the adulation of youth as well as family audiences. Sharwa has now joined him after the success of SB. Both these heroes are rated minimum guarantee heroes in overseas as well.

With a success rate and acting abilities on par with Nani and relatively a bit lesser remuneration, Sharwa has become the new crazy star for filmmakers looking to make medium budget films. Despite he is flooded with offers, Sharwa is not accepting all the films coming his way and using his acute judgmental skills to select the best scripts.

This healthy competition between these two youngsters might make them extra cautious while choosing scripts. In turn, Telugu audiences can enjoy a range of good films.
