Here is the first Indian couple to receive COVID vaccine..!

It is needless to say that everyone in the country is awaiting the COVID vaccine. Though there are no signs of the emergence of the second wave in the country yet no one is taking the chance of avoiding the prophylactic measure which is nothing but getting a dose of COVID vaccine.

On the other side, an elderly Indian couple became the first Indians from the sub-continent to get vaccinated from an approved drug. It is known that the 90-year-old grandmother was vaccinated for the first time in a vaccination program that began in Britain on yesterday. Many were vaccinated on the first day.

An Indian couple was among those vaccinated. They are the first Indian couple in the world to be vaccinated. Hari Shukla (87) of Britain and Ranjan (83) were shot with the first dose of vaccine. They were first vaccinated at Newcastle Hospital.

Although Harishukla was born in Uganda, his father moved from Mumbai to earn a living and went to Britain in 1974 and settled in Newcastle. He was a director of the Tyne & Wear Race Equality Council and was instrumental in resolving differences between different sections of the population.

He is also the recipient of the Order of the British Empire, one of the best awards in Britain, and the third highest Command of the Order of the British Umpire. The couple said they were happy as time was near for the Covid pandemic to end.
