And also added that even that is her husband Ranveer Singh’s film, she will not be part of it just like that.
Contrary to those claims, Deepika has now agreed to do a cameo as cricket legend Kapil Dev’s wife in the upcoming cricket drama ’83’, which revolves around Kapil and his world cup winning stunt. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film will see a fantastic vintage cricket drama where the nation will be re-living in the moments that India won their first ever world cup with Ranveer playing Kapil’s role.
Reports are coming from Bollywood circles that Deepika’s role in the film will be hardly seen for 14 minutes, from like sitting in the stands to cheer up for her onscreen husband to having some cute conversations at home. And the pay packet she charged for this role is literally 14 crores. A leading Bollywood portal confirmed that only such huge pay made her agree for the role.
Down south, not even some star heroes are getting such payment for accepting a whole 2 hours film, but Deepika is literally cashing on her craze big way.
