High Court gets CBI to investigate judicial offenders of YSRCP

The fact that the Judicial system of India, and the government of Andhra Pradesh cannot see eye to eye on any matter is nothing new. Ever since the YSRCP came to power, there has not been a single case where the government and the Judiciary agreed on one point. Be it the High Court of AP, or the Supreme Court of India, not one single court has given judgements favorably for the AP government.

This has very clearly not gone down well with the AP government, which usually works on the motto that it can do anything and everything it wants. Things have gone so out of control that certain people affiliated to the government have even publicly stated that they are in a position where they can write letters about the incompetence of a Supreme Court Lawyer, to the Chief Justice of India.

Not just that, this group of people have also taken to the social media, where they are very boldly stating that the public has given power to them, which gives them the freedom to do whatever they see fit. Some people have even passed derogatory statements against judges and other judicial members, saying that they would lock them up in rooms full of Coronavirus patients.

These statements obviously did not sit well with the High Court, which asked the CID and the government to look into the matter, and to take strict action against those who did it. However, neither the government nor the CID responded, and neither did they take any action. The High Court has now handed over the investigation of this case to the CBI, which will probe into the matter and find out the people responsible for such demeaning actions.

On the other hand, it is also being said that those who have passed insensitive statements against the Judiciary from abroad, will also be punished, with the help of Interpol. With the High Court once again involving the CBI, several Political experts say that the government of AP is losing its credibility, bringing to forefront its incompetence, as the government has been the least bit bothered about taking action against these offenders.
