In a piece of good news, actor-producer Mohan Babu got a big relief as the High Court issued a stay on the case that is pending against him. The High Court of Andhra Pradesh issued orders saying that the case should be stayed for eight weeks from now. The court gave the order hearing the case on Monday.
It is known that a violation of election conduct is pending against Mohan Babu for a long time. He is accused of taking a rally when the election code is active. Mohan Babu and his sons, Manoj and Vishnu attended the hearing recently in temple city Tirupati.
While issuing a stay, the High Court served notices to the defendants in the case to file their versions. The interim orders to stay the case is a big relief for Mohan Babu. After the defendants file an affidavit and further procedures take place there might not be development in the case.
Talking about the case, it goes back to 2019. When the election code was effective, he carried out a protest against the then Telugu Desam Party that the government is not paying the fees reimbursement. Students of his educational institution also participated in the protest.
On the grounds of violating the code, a case was filed and the investigation is going on. Its been more than three years since the case was filed. Now the High Court granted temporary relief to Mohan Babu in connection with the case.
