Nani had presented two films as a co-producer – “Awe” and “Hit”. Both these movies are streaming on digital platforms.
“Hit” that starred Vishwak Sen began streaming on Prime Video within a month of its theatrical release.
But neither of these movies had closed its satellite deals yet. Nani and his friend Prashanti Tipirineni have failed to convince the General Entertainment Channels.
The price they are quoting is not acceptable to these channels. Both the movies lack entertainment and don’t suit for family viewing. Hence, channels are quoting a low price. Nani and Prashanti are not stepping down on their demands.
With not much profits coming from these productions, Nani is said to be not showing interest to commence the sequels to “Awe” and “Hit” though he had announced them before.
Director Sailesh Kolanu says that sequel to “Hit” will happen but things are not moving on that side in Nani’s camp.
