The honour killing of Pranay was one of the gruesome incidents ever witnessed in the Telugu states. Amrutha’s father Maruthi Rao was the prime accused in this case. After this incident, he was arrested along with two others. Nine months later, Maruthi Rao and the other two got bail from High Court.
The police have imposed PD Act on Maruthi Rao and the other accused, so the High Court has granted bail with conditions. They should inform the police about the whereabouts constantly and if they are going out the state, Maruthi Rao should definitely show a proper reason and also inform where he is going and staying.
Meanwhile there is a tension in Pranay’s family. Amrutha has given birth to a baby boy and she is still staying with Pranay’s family Miryalaguda. They might ask the police to provide additional security considering Maruthi Rao is out on bail. The police will take a call depending upon the situation.
