The Telangana High Court has expressed his anger over the KCR-led state government on the lockdown decision. The Telangana Advocate General has informed the Court about the lockdown that will come into effect from May 12.
The Court slammed the government for taking a sudden decision on lockdown and questioned, how can people belonging to different states living in Telangana return back to their places in such less time.
Till 10 AM of today, the state government has no thought of going for lockdown at least the weekend lockdown. But the lockdown decision was taken all of a sudden. Did the government think of people before taking the decision, the Court questioned.
“The migrant labourers should not get affected by the lockdown, like how they suffered last year. What is the government doing for daily wagers and migrant workers? There is confusion in the public over the second dose of vaccine. How can the ambulances be stopped at the inter-state borders,” the High Court said during the hearing.
Calling the capital city Hyderabad a Medical Hub, the High Court said, a lot of people come here for treatment purposes and questioned, how can people who come for treatment be stopped.
