Hyderabad, India – Fans of Telugu superstar Jr. NTR, also known as Young Tiger NTR, have been eagerly anticipating his return to the silver screen after a two-year hiatus. Their wait is nearing its end as his upcoming film, Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, is set for release this Dussehra season. The first part of the two-part film is slated to hit theaters on October 10th, 2024.
Earlier glimpses of the film generated considerable buzz and heightened expectations. The production team has maintained a brisk filming pace, and to celebrate NTR’s birthday on May 21st, they unveiled a special treat for fans – the film’s first single, “Fear Song.”
A previously released promo for the song had already piqued audience interest. Living up to the hype, the lyrical song has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response, sending shivers down listeners’ spines. The song, composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander, features electrifying lyrics penned by Ramajogayya Sastry. NTR himself looks formidable in a black lungi and shirt, surrounded by action-packed visuals. Anirudh’s musical contribution adds another layer of appeal to the track.
“Fear Song” has been meticulously crafted for a multilingual audience. While Ramajogayya Sastry penned the Telugu version, renowned lyricists Vishnu Edavan (Tamil), Manoj Muntashir (Hindi), Azad Varadaraj (Kannada), and S. Golapakrishnan (Malayalam) ensured the song resonated across different languages.
This release serves as a significant pre-birthday gift from the filmmakers to NTR’s fans, who are already smitten with the song and its music. The film also boasts an impressive cast, featuring Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist and Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady. Notably, NTR’s brother, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, is the presenter of the film, co-produced by Mikkilineni Sudhakar and Harikrishna under the banners of NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts.
Devara carries the weight of high expectations, and with the release of “Fear Song,” the excitement surrounding the film is palpable.
