Mahesh Babu always wanted to do movies with big talented directors of Telugu Cinema like any other star hero and they delivered memorable films with him too.
He did Okkadu with Gunasekhar, Pokiri with Puri Jagannath, Athadu with Trivikram Srinivas, Dookudu with Srinu Vaitla. His fans and few audiences love 1 Nenokkadine from Sukumar. Koratala Siva delivered two big hits – Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu with him.
Second movies of other big directors have gone wrong but Koratala Siva could deliver a major hit. Mahesh missed out on doing a film with Rajamouli from past one decade.
There have been rumours about Rajamouli starting his next film with Mahesh for so long but none have materialised. Now, Rajamouli after becoming a huge brand himself in Indian Cinema, has decided to do a movie with Mahesh.
But Rajamouli’s school of filmmaking is too strict and restrictive for Mahesh’s liking say observers. Mahesh did perform stunts and risky shots for his earlier films before Pokiri.
He had to go through some surgeries and hence, stopped putting too much off pressure on his body. While he still performs his own stunts, Rajamouli’s filmmaking is more demanding than anything he did before.
Time may not be an issue for Mahesh as he doesn’t really care about how long shooting goes on but changing physical appearance and putting out so much off effort at his age, might be not that easy.
Taking it as once in a lifetime opportunity he might do it. Let’s wait and see, how Rajamouli will plan for Mahesh.
