Just rewind your life 10 years back. Slowly move it forward to 3 years. Did you notice any difference? You might not have seen Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and sleepless nights with mobile in hands. Yes, the advent of technology is being redefined with the evolution of Social media and it has become an essential part of our lives.
But, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi just bombed this thing that shook the internet. Taking to Twitter a day after the internet-breaking declaration, Narendra Modi tweeted, “This Sunday, thinking of giving up my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube. Will keep you all posted,” from the handle @narendramodi.
The tweet created a flutter as within minutes #NoSir started trending with social media users urging Modi not to give up his social media accounts. Modi is one of the most followed leaders in the world with 53.3 million followers on Twitter, 44 million on Facebook and 35.2 million on Instagram.
Modi leaving social media lead to many speculations that he wants to create a social media chain all by himself as he was irked with the ongoing row over the CAA among the people who are creating violence without knowing all actual facts behind it.
So, it is being said that he wants to make some important decisions on this social media thing by creating their own network that spreads BJP’s ideology to the whole country without any trouble from fellow parties. Can he succeed?
