In a shocking turn of events, a Dalit man was brutally killed in Hyderabad recently in broad daylight for reportedly marrying a woman outside his religion. The woman’s family members are believed to be not happy with the wedding and they planned the incident killing the boy.
A Dalit man recently married his longtime girlfriend who is a Muslim at an Arya Samaj. As per the planning, the victim was stabbed to death on Wednesday in Saroornagar. The issue had sent shocking waves across the Telugu states.
The honour killing incident had raised many eyebrows. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan reacted to the issue and expressed her disbelief over the shocking incident. She sought a detailed report from the government on the killing.’
Hours after the killing, the local police made a breakthrough and nabbed the main accused. After grilling him, the investigation officers found that five people are involved in this and two of them were arrested already in connection with the case.
The victim and his wife, a Muslim woman have been in love since their wedding days. After their studies, they tied the knot at an Arya Samaj in Old City. Making their marriage short-lived, the Dalit Boy was killed. Further investigation had started and more details are awaited.
