Hyd: TCS Employee crushed under RTC Bus

Amid high chaos and ruckus with RTC employees’ strike called off, an accident by a temporary driver in RTC bus today is leaving the public in a vast outcry. A woman, named Sohini Saxena, was killed after an RTC bus hit her two-wheeler at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Since Sohini was wearing an ID card at the time of the mishap, it was learnt that the lady works for Tata Consultancy Services. Ms Saxena was driving a Honda Activa and she died on the spot after RTC bus driver hit her vehicle.

But, the temporary driver of the bus claims that the brakes of the vehicle had failed. Nevertheless, he was thrashed by the people who were surrounded there, saying that he drove out of negligency. Later, the cops entered the scene and took Saxena’s body for post-mortem to Osmania medical college.

Hearing the news, the public request on social media to bring back the RTC drivers. About 50,000 workers of the TSRTC, who called off their strike after nearly two months on Monday were told that they cannot be taken back on duties by top transport officials and TSRTC managing director.
