If lockdown was not implemented, Nithiin’s Pelli Koduku function would have been held today and wedding would have taken place in Dubai on 15th.
All the plans were disrupted due to coronavirus outbreak. But, Nithiin doesn’t seem worried much about it.
“When lockdown was announced, I had decided to postpone the wedding and my family as well as Shalini’s family members agreed to it. Wedding is biggest ceremony in everyone’s life. But, nothing is important than our lives. More importantly, I don’t want my marriage to be celebrated in fear wearing mask,” affirms Nithiin.
Nithiin was the first in Tollywood to announce donation for corona relief. He announced 20 lakhs each to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments. Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan lauded him for the gesture.
Nithiin says he didn’t do it for anybody’s appreciation, though he’s happy for the kind words from the superstars. “I’m doing my duty,” he states.
