Shruti Haasan, one of the leading actresses in the Indian film industry, is currently busy with a handful of exciting projects in her kitty.
We know that the star diva played the role of Malar teacher in the Telugu remake of the film ‘Premam’ in 2016, which featured Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. In a recent interview, Shruti recalled that she was trolled by the fans after portraying Malar teacher and said that it was the only time she was trolled online.
Shruti revealed that she felt for a while that she should not have done the role. She also added that the thought was there just for a second and that she decided to do it as she did it, as it was something she liked. However, the actress added that she had a good time while playing the role, and though she was trolled online, the film ran successfully in the theatres.
Shruti also said that working in the movie taught her a valuable lesson that no one should ever compare themselves to another person.
