Radhika Apte is one actor who has been breaking all norms that once defined the heroines of Bollywood.
Her unconventional looks and her art house appeal have never held her back from stepping confidently into the mainstream or fulfilling her most ambitious acting dreams.
Radhika, while talking about the casting couch in the film industry, said, “In the south, they just make it very obvious that they want to sleep with you. But I just don’t cater to that and I don’t even know if I have lost work because of that, because it never really reached me that much.”
She also recalled an incident where she was told if she went to meet a certain producer, he might ask her to sleep with him.
Radhika Apte is also a popular heroine in Telugu Cinema with films like Legend, Dhoni and Lion to her credit. She has recently made rude remarks against the Telugu film industry and irked many of the industry persons.
