The spread of the ongoing pandemic continues to ring the danger bells in India as the fresh cases are increasing day by day. India yet again reported over 60,000 fresh cases in a single day.
In the last 24 hours, India reported 60,963 fresh infections as the total infections in the country pass surged 23 lakh-mark with 23,29,639. With 834 fresh casualties, the total casualties zoomed to 46,091.
On a brighter note, the total recoveries of the respiratory disease in the country surpassed the 16 lakh-mark with 56,110 patients recovering from the virus in the last 24 hours. This is the highest surge of recoveries in a single day.
Andhra Pradesh reported 9,024 fresh cases on Tuesday and the total cases mounted to 2,44,549. With 87 fresh fatalities, the total casualties in the state zoomed to 2,203.
On Tuesday Telanagana added 1,897 fresh cases and nine fresh casualties. With this, the total infections and casualties in connection with the ongoing pandemic stood at 84,544 and 654 respectively.
Globally, the ongoing pandemic has left as many as 20,403,255 patients infected with the respiratory disease, while 742,018 lost their lives battling the contagious disease.
