India is in the third place with 3.3 million total positive cases. India used to witness 65K to 75K cases daily until recently. But the count has been crossing the 75K mark now. 76K to 77K positive cases are witnessed daily now.
If the Covid-19 positive cases are being added to the total at this pace, India will cross Brazil in 8 more days to reach the second position in the world. The date is August 29 today.
If we calculate the increase in the number cases as per the available data, India might reach the second position in 8 more days i.e., by September 5.
