Mega hero Varun Tej’s upcoming film ‘Ghani’ was supposed to release in theatres this December. However, the makers postponed the release in order to avoid the clash with biggies like Allu Arjun’s Pushpa and Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy.
The latest update we hear is that the makers are planning to release the film in April. If the reports are anything to go by, the upcoming sports drama will hit the big screens on April 1st across the world. The official announcement will be made at an appropriate time.
Varun Tej will be seen as a boxer in the film. Directed by Kiran Korrapati, Ghani has Saiee Manjrekar playing the female lead. It also has Upendra, Suniel Shetty and Naveen Chandra in key roles.
Hollywood stunt director Larnell Stovall has been roped in as the stunt choreographer, while Ghani has cinematography by George C Williams. The film is produced by Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company.
