Inside Story: Ravi Teja’s Krack inspired from Vijay Sethupathi’s film?

It is known that Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni are collaborating for intense action drama titled Krack. The film is in final leg of shoot and is expected to be out in theaters next Sankranthi.

The latest we hear is that Krack is heavily inspired from Tamil hero Vijay Sethupathi’s cop drama, ‘Sethupathi’ which released back in 2016. The plotline of Krack is very similar to that of Sethupathi and minor changes were made to the set-up in order to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audience.

Incidentally, noted politician Ganta Srinivasa Rao’s son, Ganta Ravi who had acquired the remake rights of Sethupathi, starred in the Telugu remake of the film. Titled ‘Jayadev’ this film released in 2017.

Cut to now, Ravi Teja’s Krack is reportedly more or less a freemake of Sethupathi. The story deals with a sincere police officer who investigates the murder of an inspector and later lands in trouble as he clashes with a political leader linked with the case.

Krack has Ravi Teja and Shruti Hassan in the lead roles. Gopichand Malineni is directing it and Thaman is composing the music.
