Inside Talk: Unhappy with Manisharma, Chiranjeevi asks for DSP?

For those who already don’t know, Manisharma is composing the music for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. The film is presently in filming phase and it is slated for release on 13th of May.As said by our sources close to Acharya unit, Chiranjeevi is unhappy with Manisharma’s work for the film. Chiru feels Manisharma’s music is not upto the mark and he has taken an affirmative decision regarding his upcoming project with Bobby.

Apparently, Bobby was planning to rope in Manisharma for his next project which will have Chiranjeevi in the lead role. However, Chiranjeevi is against the idea and he wants to bring Devi Sri Prasad on board for the project.Chiranjeevi opines that Manisharma has lost his magical touch after closely monitoring the latter’s work for Acharya. So, he does not want the seasoned music director to be a part of his next project with Bobby.

Chiru is said to be impressed with Devi Sri Prasad who delivered excellent songs and astounding background score for Uppena. Moreover, DSP has always provided chartbuster albums for Chiranjeevi starrers and with that in mind, megastar wants the former to be a part of Bobby directorial.

Chiranjeevi has come to a conclusion that Manisharma wouldn’t be a great fit for his upcoming project with Bobby and incidentally, he zeroed in on Devi Sri Prasad. There is no questioning Chiranjeevi’s judgement and we can expect DSP to score the music for Chiru-Bobby project. Mythri Movie Makers will be funding this as-yet-untitled film.
