We are seeing a lot of Southern stars making their way to the North through pan-Indian films. Prabhas made it with ‘Baahubali’ and went onto make ‘Saaho’, ‘Adipurush’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’. Allu Arjun became a huge national level star with ‘Pushpa’ and Yash did it with ‘KGF’. Even NTR and Charan got nationwide craze after ‘RRR’. A lot of other heroes like Nikhil, Karthikeya, Dulquer Salman’ and others are attempting to grab this pan-Indian market.
Suriya is also planning to do the same but has a different approach compared to the rest. While other actors are doing films in their own language and releasing the film on a national level, the acclaimed Tamil star is reportedly making his full-fledged Bollywood debut. There are rumours that he is going to be a part of Mahabharata which is expected to go on floors soon.
Apart from that, he reportedly okayed a script of Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra. Known for his wonderful films like ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Delhi 6’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ and others, the director is reportedly featuring Suriya as the main lead in this next flick tentatively titled ‘Karna’. The makers are expected to turn this into a two-part film. The official announcement is expected to arrive soon and we all know that Suriya is working on ‘Kanguva’ right now and also has projects with famous directors like Bala, Vetrimaran, Sudha Kongara and others.
